The Great Cypress Creek Raft Race™ Association

If you were there, you remember it.  That weekend each year that brave souls showed up with a homemade raft, that hopefully floated, and drifted down the beautiful Cypress Creek.  Friends, family, neighbors and pretty much anyone you could convince to board your vessel.  We a great time.  The desire is to bring it back, but it takes a little time and the level of interest has to be evaluated.

Currently, dozens of people drift the Cypress each weekend.  Many do it just for fun, but some reach deep into their memories hoping to look around and see that famous floating Volkswagen or another favorite raft from back in the day.  You might even see a tear roll down their cheek if you look close enough as they remember the good ole days.  They are longing for the Raft Race to return.  :)
